A bite anyone?

If you have seen the Christmas Shrek movie then you will know how scared the gingerbread man is when he sees Santa Clause.
Gingerbread Men Cookies
3 cups flour
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup firmly pakced brown sugar
1/2 cup molasses
1 egg
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Refrigerate: 4 hours
Cook Time: 8-10 minutes
Makes 2 dozen
Mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, nutmeg and salt in large bowl. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add molasses and egg; beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture on lowspeed until well mixed. Press dough into a thick flat disk. Wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness on lightly floured work surface. Cut into gingerbread men shapes with 5-inch cookie cutter. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 8 to 10 minutes until the edges of the cookies are set and just begin to brown. Cool on baking sheets 1 to 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks, cool completely. Decorate cooled cookies as desired.

Those cookies look delicious! I used to bake gingerbread cookies every Christmas; they smell so good and taste so good, too! Beautiful picture at the top of your blog!

I love the new site. And I hope those cookies hold up well because we're on our way to enjoy some!

Ooh, and I never did take an ASL class. I dated someone who was deaf for a long while before I married Brian.
