The Theme at our House

Sometimes I wish that I didn't have to go to work. That money would just grow like weeds in my garden. But, then I wouldn't be the money conscious, penny pincher that I am if that happened. When I earn my own money it feels empowering. It also feels comforting to know I can contribute to my family and their well being. I actually love my job. I enjoy getting up and going to school. My co-workers are a riot. This Halloween they talked me into dressing up with them as wicked princesses. I looked dreadful. I had black sunken eyes, pasty skin, and baby powder hair. My daughter refused to look at me. I return to work so that I can save, save, save, and one day retire, where I will sing this song and really mean it.
