My surviving perennials

Last year I planted those pink flowers. Two years ago I planted four ivy plants. This is the lone remaining ivy plant that has emerged triumphant this spring. I love perennials and the changes that occur in the flower garden as they grow and spread, or as in my case, die. It's like a surprise party every year.

I love perennials too! I love watching for them to come up each year. Right now, I have the most beautiful iris in bloom - all ruffles!

Beautiful! I love flowers and the color of that ivy is gorgeous! Unfortunately, I do NOT have a green thumb. Far from it. When I see flowers returning it's always a huge surprise to me. :)

Snappy! Those are the exact kinds of chickens we had when we were growing up. Brown egg layers : )

Loved this post.
